Frequently Asked Questions

We provide three types of stretch films with an eco-friendly approach:

Made from high quality LLDPE raw materials combined with special additives. The film is designed to decompose after exposure to sunlight and other environmental factors over a period of time.

Multilayer cast stretch film containing recycled materials. This formula integrates up to 30% recycled materials to reduce plastic waste.

Environmentally friendly stretch film, produced with up to 50% sugarcane-based renewable raw materials (BIO Renewable).

Biodegradation time varies, but is generally around 2 years, depending on the environment the product is in. To speed up the process, the product needs to be exposed to direct and continuous sunlight.

Our stretch film products, both conventional and eco friendly, can be recycled through industrial recycling facilities. We encourage our customers to send their stretch films to recycling centers as a way of contributing to environmental conservation.

Technically (TekrapOXO) products can be disposed of in regular trash. However, we recommend that the product is allowed to undergo the degradation process first to maximize its biodegradable benefits and reduce the impact on the environment

To accelerate the biodegradation process, place the product in an environment with continuous exposure to direct sunlight. UV light will accelerate the degradation reaction of the film material.

Our product, TEKRAPLOOP, is RCS (Recycled Claim Standard) certified. RCS is an international standard that ensures claims of recycled material content in products. It has been widely used in the textile industry and is now also applicable to plastic products.
